DIY kit for the 5" Egg speakers Thingiverse project by dr_frost_dk.
All parts required available here! Easy to assemble. Single unit, make sure to order two for a full set!
If you do not own a 3D printer, keep in mind this is an experimental (and huge!) 3D printed product. The bottom side will not always turn out perfect, but you don't see this (at all) during normal use. Check the images for reference.
If you own a 3D printer and want to print the cabinet yourself, you can just get the speakers and tools. But make sure it fit's into the build volume of your machine. (230x230x300mm!). And be aware printing one takes 3 days and uses almost 1kg PLA, and even more if doesn't work from the beginning ;-)
You can also opt-in for the treble modification described in the project. But be aware that soldering and disassembly of the speaker unit itself is required.
