I needed a streetlamp for a model I'm working on - I remembered
...Show more cptnAWESOME's street sign, and thought I could make some quick adjustments to get a streetlamp that would suit my purposes.
Download the following files from Thing 14974. Print at 40% of the original size:
Street_Sign_Pole_1.STL (One Copy)
Street_Sign_Pole_2.STL (One Copy)
Street_Sign_Pole_3.STL (Two Copies)
Street_Sign_Pole_4.STL (One Copy)
Print Cap and Lens from this Thing. Assemble all parts with acetone or glue. I trimmed one of the copies of Pole_3 down by 15mm, adjust the height as you see fit. There is an open shaft through the center of all the street pole pieces - a kabob skewer fit perfectly and helped stabilize the pieces as I joined them together.
This is suitable for 1:24 models, with some room for additional scaling depending on the size needed. Shown with a 3" figure.
