One of the case has handles to add a shoulder strap. All of the cases have holes to add small magnets to help close the case. Here is a good link for some:

EDIT: I wanted to suggest one thing. If you want to attach the hinge together, you may need to heat treat the hinge first. What I decided to do was get a bowl of boiling water, let the hinge get a little weak, and slide it onto the rod. A heat gun would work too.
